Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner All Wore the Same Pants

When not just one or two, but four of the most paparazzi-stalked celebrities (stars who, btw, have unlimited sartorial resources at their disposal) flock to a single emerging brand, you know it has to be good. And the brand in question is Miaou, a denim-centric line that promises the perfect fit: “Miaou Jeans hug every woman the same; all shapes and sizes,” reads designer Alexia Elkaim’s statement on the brand’s site.

Now that’s a mighty tall order, but a quick skim of Miaou’s Instagram feed proves it’s one that the brand is committed to—and delivers. Both model Paloma Elsesser and Gigi Hadid are highlighted (and celebrated!) as they stun in the same Morgan style jeans in plaid ($325), and with every scroll, it becomes increasingly apparent just how body-inclusive the brand really is.

And it all started with the lack of vintage jeans that fit curves, so Elkaim set out to design her own: pieces as “well-constructed as the French classics she found thrifting, but with a universally modern fit.” Distinguished by their mid- to high-waist, cropped cuts, Miaou jeans are designed to enhance a woman’s natural shape, further emphasized by the waist-cinching taffeta silk or ‘90s-style chain-link belts threaded through the brand’s signature grommet detailing.

So really, it’s no wonder Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and most recently, Selena Gomez are fans. And look at just how versatile these jeans are. Bella first wore the black-and-white Tommy pair in Pinstripe, delivering a cool off-duty attitude through street-chic layers (a graphic tee, a hoodie, a denim vest), a Greek fisherman cap, a mini chain-lined purse, and Tamara Mellon fishnet boots. Jenner wore hers to deliver a dose of edge to her American flag knit, sleeping bag puffer, and platform brogues, while Gomez took the preppy-chic route with a cropped ochre-colored knit, a structured top-handle Coach tote, and sleek loafer mules.
