french designer ora ito has created new offices for LVMH’s media division in paris’ 15th arrondissement. the unit spans four stories and is penetrated by a soaring, stunning staircase which serves as the centerpiece of the scheme. ‘the (staircase) creature undulates in the space, shaping and pervading it’, explains ora ito. the parametric sculpture has been designed as a biomorphic structure, and contrasts with the minimally furnished offices.
