Deadpool 2: Rob Liefeld Posts A New Behind-The-Scenes Photo Of Cable

We don't actually know that much about Deadpool 2 right now. We know which characters are in it and the marketing has started, but as far as plot goes, we don't have anything to go on. Cable creator Rob Liefeld posted a new behind-the-scenes image to Instagram of actor Josh Brolin, and while it doesn't give us any plot hints or details, the joy on Liefeld's face is undeniable.

CABLE!! Say what?? I'm going to actually meet him in the flesh and blood(and steel coils)?? And, oh, by the way, he's one of your favorite and one of the most talented actors of all space and time! Yeah, I dare you to try and meet one of your own creations and not get umpteen butterflies in your stomach. I don't remember anything that was said here besides me thinking "I'm meeting CABLE!! HOW AWESOME IS THIS?!?!" Mr. Josh Brolin could not be more perfect in this role. He is amazing and outstanding and you will no doubt be as giddy as I was when watching him portray Cable. His commitment to becoming Cable goes beyond his physical transformation, he found the voice that fans will go crazy about! Ryan as Deadpool and Josh as Cable. The first trailer for Deadpool 2 likely won't hit until the new year, but thanks to the huge success of the first one, this is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2018. Brolin's Cable, Ryan Reynolds's Deadpool, and Domino played by Zazie Beetz will help set up the announced X-Force movie.

Deadpool 2, directed by David Leitch, stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Josh Brolin, Brianna Hildebrand, and Zazie Beetz. It will be released on June 1st, 2018.
