Following Ikea’s acquisition of TaskRabbit last year, the furniture company is introducing an assembly service to some of its US stores. Ikea said Tuesday it will start lining up “taskers” from the contract labor service with customers who don’t want to assemble the company’s furniture (or want to preserve a little of their sanity after putting a bookcase together). When you purchase items in the store or online, Ikea will be able to book an appointment as soon as the next day.

TaskRabbit has already partnered with Ikea in the UK, but the new services are now available at six stores in the Bay Area and tri-state area in New York: Brooklyn, Emeryville, East Palo Alto, Long Island, Paramus, and Elizabeth before expanding to other Ikea stores in the US. Assembly starts at $36 and is a flat rate based on the item, according to the company. Ikea will continue to offer its own independent assembly partners to build your furniture, but pricing there starts at $89 and varies based on the price of the item being assembled.

Fortunately, on both options, you’ll only be charged once the job is done, in case your tasker is also confused by the instruction book.
